Joe Swank is the owner/operator at Swank Promotions (Est. 2014). Previously, he was the Radio Promotion & Regional Tour Press person at Bloodshot Records in Chicago, Illinois from 2008-2014, and was the primary Radio Promotions person at Yep Roc Records/Redeye Distribution in Haw River, North Carolina from 2001-2008.

Joe Swank was a member of the American Music Association Radio Advisory committee and has been a panel member at the yearly conference in Nashville for over a decade. He has over 20 years of experience in Radio broadcasting at such stations as WDDD, WTJY, WKCM/WLME, WOOZ, WDBX and WCOM, as both air-talent (Morning show, afternoon drive and late night) and management (PD/MD), with additional stints in advertising, copy-writing and journalism. He currently hosts "The Y'allternative" Americana/Alt. Country radio program on WDBX in Carbondale, IL (Thursdays 6:30-8pm) and sits on the WDBX radio advisory board.

Swank has self-released 3 albums of original material as the primary singer/song-writer and is a co-writer of material on the most recent releases from Two Dollar Pistols and John Howie Jr. & The Rosewood Bluff.
